Please refer to the renewal of GROUP MEDICLAIM INSURANCE Scheme of the Centre for 2022-23.
Circular No CDAC/FIN/MEDICLAIM/001/2022-23 dated 23 Jun 2022 regarding Group Mediclaim Insurance Scheme for the year 2022-23 along with its Application Form (Annexure –III) are attached herewith for further circulation to the members of CREWAS/ Retired staff members.
Rrequest interested CREWAS members to join the scheme and submit their application in Finance on or befor 28th June 2022.
NB: - Please contact Security Staff at Main Gate (C-DAC) for Application Form and Challan if necessary.
(UTR No must be endorsed in the Form in case of online fund transfer.C-DAC Account Number already mentioned in the Application Form for reference & remittance).

The Group Mediclaim Insurance Scheme of C-DAC in force for the past thirteen years is further renewed with M/s. New India Assurance Company Limited, Madurai, for a period of one year from 29.06.2021 to 28.06.2022. Please find attached above the relevant Circular and Application Form.

at KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum.

Deferred EPF Pension
Further to the report on deferred pension notification, Exec. Comm. members met an Adv. Mohanakumaran Nair practising in Vanchiyoor court. We have discussed with him about the notification and requested him to prepare a suitable representation to EPFO, Tvm for allowing us to exercise the option. He has suggested to give the representation along with the signed list of benefitted members.
Please find an Excel sheet and guidelines for using the Excel sheet for computing financial implications if we opt for deferred pension. The Excel sheet is prepared by Shri. Thomas George. We are grateful to him and thanks to him for this effort.
We request the interested members to decide whether the option will be beneficial or not using this Excel sheet. If beneficial and willing to participate in giving the representation, please send the following information to any of the Exec Comm member so that CREWAS can prepare the list of interested members.

Contribute to Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF)
Dear Members,
As all of you are aware, we are really suffering from Covid 19 pandemic. We have a moral responsibility to help the much needed under privileged sections of our society. The Executive Committee has decided to approach you for your generous contribution to Chief Ministers Distress Relief Fund. Those who are interested to contribute, the amount may be credited to CREWAS account if you wish so or may be credited directly to CM's relief fund. In either case, CREWAS shall consolidate the contributions if enough information is available and let you know the details later.
We request you to generously contribute for this noble cause.

beloved friend, Laly Raja Prasad at 2:00 PM on 4th April 2020
at Trivandrum Medical College due to Cardiac arrest.

Group Accident Insurance Scheme 2020-21
Considering the present restrictions due to Covid19, Members can think
of the following options to submit the GAI application form to C-DAC.
1. Send scanned copy of signed application form to jayapalan@cdac.in.
Payment can be done through bank transfer (C-DAC Syndicate Bank
A/c. No. 40192200000058, IFSC: SYNB0004019)
2. Those members who are unable to do the above can intimate their
name to Mr. Jayapalan (Mob: 9633511895) along with Premium amount,
sum insured, Cheque No. etc. They can submit their original application
at a later date in consultation with Jayapal.
3. Those who are very close to C-DAC can give their application along
with cheque to Security, Main Gate (enclosed in a closed cover).
Application Forms are available at the Security Gate.
You can call or WhatsApp Mr. Jayapalan for any clarifications at any time.
(The above formalities are decided in discussions with C-DAC Finance)

C-DAC Group Accident Insurance Scheme 2020-21: It has been decided to renew the scheme for FY2020-21. The Scheme is extended to all retired staff and their spouse subject to the conditions specified. The scheme is operated through a policy with M/s. The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. As per the circular, the last date of submitting the application form is 25th March 2020. But for the retired staff, it will be accepted up to 7th April 2020. Restrictions are there in C-DAC this week due to Covid 19. So it is preferred to submit the application during the first week of April. Forms in limited number are available at the Main Gate. |

Opportunity to get CREWAS Membership

Based on the decision of last Annual General Body meeting of CREWAS, we are providing an opportunity to those retired/resigned employees of ER&DC-T/ER&DCI-T/C-DAC-T who have not become members of CREWAS. They can now join CREWAS as members by remitting an admission fee of either Rs.1000/- OR normal admission fee of Rs.100/- plus dues of monthly subscription of Rs.30/- per month from the date of retirement/resignation, whichever is less. Membership will be given only to those who were in the roles of ER&DC-T/ER&DCI-T/C-DAC-T on or after 1st April 1988.
This opportunity may be availed at the earliest.
